I’m Abdelaziz Abdelrasol, an AI engineer at Vector Informatik in Stuttgart. I build AI coding agents and the evaluation, observability and deployment tooling around them.

I came to AI from embedded software. Between 2020 and 2025 I wrote appliance firmware and then automotive software at Valeo, Bosch and Vector, mostly bootloaders. At Vector I was feature owner for Flash Bootloader and On-the-Fly Reprogramming in the Mercedes-Benz AP2 project.

What I write about

Recent posts are about AI coding agents: how to orchestrate them and where they fail. The older ones are from my embedded years and cover the C build process, PWM on the ATmega32A, and test-driven development with Unity.

Open source

  • orchcore: a Python library that runs AI coding agent CLIs (Claude, Codex, Gemini, Copilot, OpenCode) as subprocesses in phase pipelines. It’s on PyPI.
  • planora: a CLI where one agent writes an implementation plan, other agents audit it, and the planner revises it.
  • skills-for-agents: the agent skills I use with Claude Code and Codex CLI.
